LOL I used to adore Pokemon SO much back when it was new! I remember buying the 2 new videos that would come out each month for $15 each. 2 episodes per tape, and the story just crept along! But I loved it so much. After I had bought like 20 tapes and the story was still not really GOING anywhere...I lost interest in it. Even the girl that played Ash eventually got sick of it and left the show as well. I remember at one point Santa had flying horses for his sleigh, then a couple years later they introduced a new "Reindeer" pokemon, and suddenly the horses were all gone...probably put them all down...humanely of course! lol
I think I turned my back on pokemon shortly after Brock left. I LOVED Brock, so I never gave Tracey a chance haha! But my favorite characters were Team Rocket, and I started to get irritated that they were just getting stupider and stupider, 'blasting off again' in the first few minutes by their own trap or something. Why they didn't just get a gun and shoot Ash in the head then steal Pikachu I'll never know lol!
I tried to get back into it when I saw Brock was back, but so many other things were different - like Ash leaving and the fact they were trippin on the MILLIONS of new pokemon - so I just gave up. The original 151 FTW! 8D
